Over the years, he repeatedly claimed to have secret evidence regarding the assassination, and nothing ever turned up. Second, there is no corroboration for this grenade story from anywhere - no press stories, no memos, and no one associated with the Garrison investigation talked about this. Third, Jim Garrison himself has a very different story about Nagell and the Shaw trial in his book

A review of balance sheets and other financial records for the Mart, from its inception through the 1960s, also shows no evidence of vehicle ownership or leasing by the Mart.
So, let me get this straight. A neighbor of the informant, who was a news cameraman, told the informant that Aura Lee, in front of various people, had said she had seen Ferrie go into Shaw s office several times. None of these people contacted Garrison s office with this important information. And, Aura Lee did not come forward herself.
So, was Aura Lee really Clay Shaw s secretary? We have the trial testimony of Miss Goldie Moore, who was actually Shaw s secretary for 19 years until he retired in 1965,
