WA Liberals state director Sam Calabrese has resigned from his position less than a month after his party’s historic election defeat.
In a message to members sent on Tuesday afternoon, Mr Calabrese said after three-and-a-half years in the role and 14 years serving the party he was stepping down for personal reasons and to allow for a replacement to be found ahead of next year’s federal election.

Labor has emphatically won the West Australian election in a second successive historic win, evicting the Liberals from many of its traditionally held blue-ribbon seats with staggering swings across the metropolitan area.
Political guru Antony Green made the call just 43 minutes after polling booths closed with only one per cent of votes counted, describing wildly popular Premier Mark McGowan’s primary vote surge as “quite remarkable”.

CLEVELAND — The first shipments of COVID-19 vaccine began arriving in Northeast Ohio on Tuesday; so far, Aultman Hospital and the Cleveland VA Medical Center have posted videos and photos showing what is perhaps the most anticipated delivery this holiday season.
The first round of 975 doses of the Pfizer vaccine was delivered to Aultman Hospital in Canton just after 9 a.m. Tuesday.

Cleveland hospitals begin receiving Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine

Brett Carroll, the Vaccine Coordinator at VA Northeast Ohio Health System says they’re ready to begin vaccinations.
“As far as planning, our plan is to start tomorrow (Wednesday) with our employee clinic which will include our healthcare workers and our CLC which is our nursing home area,” says Carroll.
Cleveland's VA was one of 37 nationwide to get the vaccine. The reason they received 2,975 doses is because of the large region they serve as a government organization. Wednesday's vaccinations will include both healthcare workers, and veterans who live in long term congregate care living facilities.
Doctors say now that the vaccine is here, they’re ready to go.
