Man finally sentenced for Worth County car chase Jason Jensen/Worth County Jail Lake Mills man takes plea deal. Posted: Feb 13, 2021 10:58 AM Posted By: Mike Bunge NORTHWOOD, Iowa – A plea deal results in a jail sentence for a Lake Mills man. Jason Charles Jensen, 51, was arrested on December 12, 2019, after the Worth County Sheriff’s Office said he sped away from an attempted traffic stop for an expired registration. Deputies say Jensen had to be forcibly removed from his vehicle after he was caught. Jensen was charged with eluding and driving while barred and pleaded guilty to the latter offense. He’s been given seven days in jail, with credit for time served. ....

On Dec. 2, Gray and Edel went to Estevan where both had appointments and later did some Christmas shopping before returning home. Sincere sympathy is extended to Brenda and Gary Junk and family on the death of her mother Dorothy (Dot) Girard of Carnduff Sunset Haven (formally of Alida) on Dec. 4 at the age of 90 years. She was predeceased by her husband Paul (Chic), her parents Frands and May Jensen, siblings Charles Jensen, Alfred (Marie) Jensen, Jeannette (Lucien) Laval, Dolly (Paul) Leveille, and Evelyn Dubuc. Dot leaves to cherish her memory her daughters, Brenda (Gary) Junk, Gloria Girard (Dave Ince) and her son Raymond (Velda) Girard, six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, brother-in-law Napoleon Dubuc and numerous nieces and nephews as well as many dear friends. A private family graveside service will be held at Dannevirke Lutheran Cemetery. ....
