At 27, I learnt that my father was not my father. Instead, I am donor-conceived. My world was blown apart. But that seismic discovery would pale in comparison to what happened next. I went on a 10-year journey to discover the truth of my own existence, and what I found out about the fertility industry was truly shocking.
I discovered that the fertility clinic of the public Royal North Shore Hospital (RNSH) in Sydney, which made me, deliberately destroyed donor conception codes: the vital information about which children, and how many, had been made from whom. Rocky Grammar graduate powers way to higher honours

Rockhampton Grammar School graduate Grace Sypher has been named in the Australian under-23 rowing team.
Her selection in the lightweight women’s quad scull crew follows a strong performance at the recent national championships at Lake Barrington, Tasmania.
Competing with Sydney Rowing Club, Sypher won five medals – gold in the under-21 quad, silver in the under-23 lightweight single and under-23 lightweight double, and bronze in the under-21 youth eight and open women’s quad 500m sprint.
She and her Australian teammates will compete at the World Rowing Cup 3 Simulation Regatta in Penrith, New South Wales, from June 11 to 13. ....

About James Chapman
Elite rower James Chapman was part of the senior Australian Rowing Team for more than 15 years, representing Australia at 15 World Rowing Cups, seven World Rowing Championships and the 2008 Beijing and 2012 London Olympic Games.
Born in New South Wales, Chapman started his career rowing out of Sydney Rowing Club, UTS Rowing Club and Mosman Rowing Club with the support of the New South Wales Institute of Sport and the Australian Institute of Sport.
Chapman was first selected to compete for his country in the men’s VIII who took the silver medal at the under 23 World Championships in Copenhagen in 2000. ....

Olympic medallist cop Murray Riley who became an international drug dealer dies aged 94


He quickly moved into crime and was a major heroin importer by the mid 1970s
Riley was an associate of Sydney gangsters Lennie McPherson and Neddy Smith
His most notorious failed scheme was the 4.5 tonne Anoa cannabis importation
He was jailed over a  £40million fraud conspiracy in the UK but escaped in 1993
Riley spent the rest of his long life in Queensland avoiding extradition to Britain 
One of the most colourful chapters in Australian criminal history has finally closed with the death of infamous cop turned crook Murray Riley aged 94.
