Seattle Police Chief rescinds invitation from evangelical group known for anti-LGBTQ views

SEATTLE – Seattle Police Chief Adrian Diaz has rescinded an invitation to a free law enforcement officer appreciation dinner hosted by the Ministry of Billy Graham Evangelistic Association. 
The invitation starts by thanking law enforcement officers for their service and goes on to say “despite the many negative things you may have heard recently, there’s one important message you need to hear: We appreciate you!”
The invite was for a free dinner hosted on May 11 and May 12 by Rev. Franklin Graham and the Ministry of Billy Graham Evangelistic Association at the Hyatt Regency in Bellevue. ....
