The society undertook predator control on the 114-hectare Mystery Creek property, with support from the Department of Conservation and the Waikato Regional Council.

It secured funding from regional councils to run the hub over the next two years.
“As a community hub, we will provide predator traps for our neighbours and will offer ongoing support and training days,” Fieldays Chief Executive Peter Nation said.
