Frank Hoagland, R-Mingo Junction, Tuesday testified before the Senate Veterans and Public Safety Committee on new legislation to enhance school safety measures and better protect children in the classroom. “School safety must continue to be a top priority in the state of Ohio,” said Hoagland. “This new mobile training team, in partnership with the Ohio attorney general, will provide the tools, training and resources necessary to protect Ohio’s most valuable investment, our kids.” Senate Bill 168 would establish the Ohio Mobile Training Team Program and requires the Director of Public Safety to appoint a Chief Mobile Training Officer.
