A team of New Jersey researchers has shown that changes in perceptual certainty and response bias, two central metrics of signal detection theory (SDT), correlate with changes in cognitive fatigue. Scientific Reports on December 14, 2020 in the open access article, Using functional connectivity changes associated with cognitive fatigue to delineate a fatigue network (doi: 10.1038//s41598-020-78768-3).
