Donald Trump has used his four years as US president to demonstrate his deep commitment to the Zionist state of Israel. He has striven to enable Israel to take control of occupied Palestine with an iron grip, and given it the upper hand in the region. Thirty years ago today, America was a united country as Operation Desert Shield became Desert Storm. Commander-in-Chief President George H.W. Bush ordered the U.S. military along with allied forces to push Saddam Hussein s Iraqui troops out of neighboring Kuwait. The mission, led by General Norman Schwarzkopf, was highly successful and Americans united over a stunning military victory.
Desert Storm - aka the Persian Gulf War - was not as controversial as the Iraq War under President Bush s son, George W. Bush. Iraqui leader Saddam Hussein ordered his military to invade Kuwait. The invasion was a clear violation of the border with a sovereign nation and the decision to stop the aggression of the madman from Baghdad was popular. ....

The call couldn’t have come at a better time. With COVID-19 scaling down weddings significantly and erasing social events from the calendar, hotelier and caterer Arieh Wagner of Golders Green, London, found himself without a single job since Purim. Then came the groundbreaking peace deal between the United Arab Emirates and Israel in August, followed by the treaty between Bahrain and Israel a month later.
As soon as the Bahrain deal was announced, Wagner received a call from a former Sheraton Hotel colleague of 20 years ago. “Do you remember me?” the fellow asked, explaining that he is now the manager of the Ritz-Carlton in the Arabic country of Bahrain. ....
