Actress Jameela Jamil has come forth to admit that she has struggled with suicidal thoughts after being accused of having Munchausen’s syndrome.
Speaking at a virtual body confidence conference,
The Good Place star shared that she was left with dangerous thoughts after she "mocked for her disability and mental health".
Jameela said that it was on her birthday last year when she was left "totally suicidal" and left thinking: "What an ugly world, I don't want to be here anymore."
"Just a year ago I was totally suicidal. This week is my birthday week," she said.

PESHAWAR: Dr Jamil Ahmad, a professor at the Institute of Peace and Conflict Studies, University of Peshawar, has complained that he wasn’t called for interview as an applicant for the position of vice-chancellor of the public sector universities in Chitral and Buner even though the Academic and Search Committee Chairman Prof Dr Attaur Rahman had asked the Higher Education Department, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to look into his complaint.
In a statement, he said he had informed Dr Attaur Rahman in time and the latter directed the secretary, Higher Education Department, KP to “ensure that all is strictly in order in respect of the following complaint.” However, he added that his complaint wasn’t addressed.

Poet, educationist Prof Qazi Jamil dies

HARIPUR: Renowned poet, journalist and educationist Prof Qazi Jamil-ur-Rehman died here Friday night.
He was 71 and left behind a widow and three sons. Qazi Jamil was admitted to Corona Ward of Haripur DHQ Hospital about two weeks ago when his condition worsened and he tested Corona-positive. He remained on ventilator for more than a week but could not survive and breathed his last Friday night and Dr Mehvish, in-charge Corona Ward, confirmed his cause of death as Corona-positive.
He was buried in his ancestral graveyard of Sera-e-Saleh on Saturday where poets, journalists, teachers, his former students and local people attended his funeral prayer.
