Wales draw Estonia, France, Greece, Kazakhstan & Slovenia in qualifying

Wales have drawn fourth ranked France in their 2023 World Cup qualification group as Gemma Grainger hopes to guide Wales to a first major tournament.
Slovenia, Greece, Kazakhstan and Estonia join Wales and France to make up the remaining team’s in Group I.
Wales’ campaign will begin at home against Kazakhstan on Friday 17 September 2021, before ending just under a year later with another home match against Slovenia on September 6 2022.
The team that tops this six-team group will directly qualify for the finals in Australia and New Zealand with the runner-up entering the playoffs. ....

Jayne Ludlow appointed Man City Girls' Academy Technical Director

Former Wales Women’s head coach Jayne Ludlow has joined Manchester City as their Girls’ Academy Technical Director.
Speaking about her new role, Ludlow told mancity.com: “I am excited and honoured to be given the opportunity to join Manchester City Football Club as Technical Director of the Girls’ Academy.
“I look forward to ensuring that our Academy prioritises personal and football development so that our next generation positively impact the game and societies of the future.
“I am also committed to helping facilitate a creative, positive learning environment where both coaches and players can thrive and one that enables them to reach the highest levels of the game.” ....
