County To Stay In Red Tier For 4Th Week In A Row Bay City News Service FacebookTwitterEmail Bay City News Foundation San Joaquin County continues to remain in the state s red tier of COVID-19 restrictions for the fourth week in a row partially due to social gatherings such as Easter, vaccine hesitancy and individuals not following safety protocols, county officials said at a briefing Wednesday. However, demand for vaccine appointments trended downward since April 12. “The clinic has a capacity of administering 1,750 doses per day but demand steadily decreased in the days before the closure,” last Friday, Jordan Scott, media and public relations representative for Kaiser in Northern California confirmed. ....
