Dance marathons, also called walkathons to avoid legal and moral scrutiny, were essentially the Netflix dating show of that era. After five long years of anticipation, the Tenderloin is getting its first ambitious food hall on Monday filled with tough-to-find dishes like jerk chicken tacos, vegan pupusas and Senegalese peanut stew.
