The Staten Island Mall Carnival is scheduled to make its return this year, from May 27 to June 13, after a one-year hiatus due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, organizers announced Friday. For 25 years, the carnival has taken place on the grounds of the Staten Island Mall with rides, attractions, food vendors and a variety of games. This year, the carnival will be open from 5 to 10 p.m. weekdays and from noon to 10 p.m. on weekends. It will be open from noon to 10 p.m. on Memorial Day, May 31. ....
