Two of New Zealand’s hottest new acts, Harper Finn and LA Women, are joining forces and hitting the road, playing shows in Christchurch, Dunedin, Wellington and Auckland this May.
HARPER FINN is no stranger to the NZ live music scene, starting out as the keyboard player for a sprawling 8-piece hip-hop group, appearing at some of the hottest R18 venues while still underage. Following his time working nights at a local venue in downtown Auckland, and after honing his song-writing skills, Finn headed out on his own with singles ‘Conversations (With The Moon)’, and ‘Norway’, before exploding onto radio airwaves with the massive summer hit ‘Dance Away These Days’. With only a few Auckland club shows (sold out) and an appearance at Rhythm and Vines under his belt, this tour will be the first chance for South Islander’s to hear Harper Finn’s infectious pop hits live.

AFRO-POP star, Joseph Akinwale Akinfenwa, known professionally as Joeboy, will today discuss his recently released his long-awaited debut album entitled Somewhere Between Beauty and Magic, on Cuppy’s Apple Music Radio show, ‘Africa Now’.
The rave-making singer will discuss the 14-track project, which is the official follow-up to his 2019 Love and Light EP debut, a testament to the ability of Mr Eazi’s emPawa initiative to unearth him as a musical gem. He will also speak on why the album has no features and his plans for a deluxe.
As regards the lack of features on the album, singer cum songwriter said: “I really, really wanted two of my favourite artistes on the album, but I couldn’t get their verses on time. So, by the time they submitted their verses, it was too late to actually add it to the album.”

After bursting onto the music scene a few years ago with his hit songs “Baby” and “Beginning”, afro pop star Joeboy continues to showcase his tremendous talent and versatility as an artiste following his debut album, “Somewhere Between Beauty and Magic”. Ferdinand Ekechukwu reports
Singer, Joeboy has released his much-awaited debut album titled, “Somewhere Between Beauty and Magic” (SBBM). The album showcases Joeboy’s versatility with 14 tracks, including songs like ‘Celebration’ and ‘Lonely’. The album was released under Mr. Eazi’s Banku Music imprint and his Next-Gen music venture, emPawa Africa.
Interestingly, the singer was alone without any guest artiste on the LP which is something quite rare because collaborations have so much shaped the music landscape lately. The track list however shows that Joe Boy worked with several producers like Dera, Type A, BeatsbyKO, MOG, Big Fish, Tempoe, Mex Flairz, E Kelly, Killertunes and Semzy on the album. While the body of work was mixed by Oxygen Mix, it was mastered by E Kelly, Oxygen Mix, and Air. Other songs on the album are ‘Lonely’, ‘Consent’, ‘Count Me Out’, ‘Oshe’, ‘Oh’, ‘Sugar Mama’, ‘Police’, “Better Thing“, “Runaway” and “Celebration.

Nigerian singer, Joseph Akinfenwa more known as Joeboy has released the tracklist for his much-awaited debut album.
The album titled ‘Somewhere Between Beauty and Madness’ (SBBM) is scheduled for release on Thursday.
Interestingly, the singer didn’t feature any artiste on the 14-track album. The tracklisting however shows that Joe Boy worked with several producers like Dera, Type A, BeatsbyKO, MOG, Big Fish, Tempoe, Mex Flairz, E Kelly, Killertunes and Semzy on the album.
While the entire album was mixed by Oxygen Mix, it was mastered by E Kelly, Oxygen Mix, and Air.
