New Delhi India], May 24 (ANI): The feature for on-site registration and appointment is now being enabled for the 18-44 years age group on CoWIN, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare informed on Monday.
However, the feature is being enabled only for Government COVID Vaccination Centers (CVCs), at the present moment in time.
The health ministry said that this feature will not be available for Private CVCs presently, and the Private CVCs will have to publish their vaccination schedules exclusively with slots for online appointments. ....

On-site registration and appointment has now been enabled for the 18-44 years age group on the CoWin platform for COVID-19 vaccination, the Union Health Ministry said on Monday. However, this feature is being enabled only for government COVID Vaccination Centers (CVCs) at present, it said.
This feature will not be available for private CVCs and they will have to publish their vaccination schedules exclusively with slots for online appointments. This feature will be used only upon decision of respective states and UT governments. ....

This feature will not be available for private CVCs and they will have to publish their vaccination schedules exclusively with slots for online appointments. This feature will be used only upon decision of respective states and UT governments.
States and UT must decide on opening of on-site registrations/facilitated cohorts registration and appointments for 18-44 years age group based on the local context just as an additional measure to minimize vaccine wastage and for facilitating vaccination of eligible beneficiaries in the age group of 18-44 years, the ministry said in its statement. ....

COVID-19 curfew restrictions extended till 1 June in Uttarakhand
The Uttarakhand government on Monday extended the COVID-19 related curfew period across the state till 1 June. The period of the ongoing curfew in the state was scheduled to come to an end at 6 am on Tuesday morning. Giving the information , Cabinet Minister and the state government s spokesman Subodh Uniyal said shops dealing in essential commodities like milk, meat, fish, fruits and vegetables will open daily for three hours from 8 am to 11 am during the period. ....
