KARACHI: Pakistan bowlers Hasan Ali, Nauman Ali and Shaheen Afridi have all achieved career-best positions in the ICC Men’s Test Player Rankings after becoming the first trio from their country to grab five-wicket hauls in the same match.
Fast bowler Hasan Ali (5-27 in the first innings), left-arm fast bowler Shaheen Afridi (5-52 in the second innings) and left-arm spinner Nauman Ali (5-86 in the second innings) played important roles as Pakistan won the second Test against Zimbabwe in Harare by an innings and 147 runs to complete a 2-0 series win.
Hasan has moved up six places to 14th position, Shaheen is up nine places to 22nd and Nauman has gone from 54th to 46th position after registering only the sixth instance of three bowlers from one side finishing with five-wicket hauls in the same Test. ....

Arizona has fallen from the nation’s ranks of most competitive economic outlooks after voters enacted a new income bracket to better fund public schools.
The Copper State ranks 13th for economic outlook in the U.S in the American Legislative Exchange Council Center for State Fiscal Reform s 2021 Rich States, Poor States competitive index. The state ranked 10th last year.
Judged by more than a dozen metrics, Arizona received low marks on its sales tax, minimum wage and top marginal income rate.
Voters approved Prop. 208 last fall. It created an additional 3.5% income tax on single filers with marginal income over $250,000 and joint filers making more than $500,000. The money is used to increase teacher pay, retention and other public school-related spending. ....

New Delhi, May 12 (IANS) As the second wave of Covid-19 cripples the Indian healthcare system with hospitals running out of beds and oxygen supply, a report by Housing.com shows that when it comes to health infrastructure, Pune is the most equipped city in India, although, with just 3.5 hospital beds per 1,000 people.
