No ‘Nutcracker’ this year; Oak Ridger comes home Fay Martin/The Oak Ridger Kathy Martin Holmes returned to Oak Ridge, the city of her birth, on Aug. 31, 2020. She came back to be near her “aged parents,” Fay and Murray Martin. Kathy had been living in Sechelt, British Columbia. Her two daughters, Halle and Hunter Holmes have remained in British Colombia. Halle is working in Victoria, and Hunter is at an acting school in Vancouver. In her early days Kathy attended United Church, Chapel-on-the-Hill Nursery School, Cedar Hill Elementary School, Jefferson Junior High School and graduated from Oak Ridge High School in 1982. ....
