Más de sesenta mil inmigrantes que están solicitando beneficios migratorios por razones humanitarias se verán favorecidos de un acuerdo aprobado este martes por un juez federal para resolver una demanda contra el Servicio de Ciudadanía e Inmigración de Estados Unidos (USCIS).
La demanda presentada en noviembre pasado en el Tribunal del Distrito Norte de California desafiaba una política de la agencia adoptada bajo la Administración de Donald Trump (2017-2021) que apuntaba específicamente a los beneficios humanitarios para sobrevivientes de violencia doméstica, advirtieron los demandantes.
