The Saskatchewan Association of Rural Municipalities, (SARM) will kick off its annual convention today. As Global News reports, the association is holding its two-day meeting virtually this year because of the coronavirus pandemic, where discussion about access to the COVID-19 vaccine is expected to take centre stage.
SARM President Ray Orb said he wants improved vaccine communication in rural areas. “We want make sure everyone who lives out in rural areas knows about the vaccine,” he said. ....

Council Meets Virtually: The Montgomery County Council meets at 9 a.m. and here’s a look at the agenda for the meeting. The meeting will be televised on County Cable Montgomery Channels Comcast HD 996 and SD6, RCN HD 1056 and SD 6, and Verizon 30. Additionally, it will be live-streamed on the council’s Facebook and Youtube channel.

School Board Meets: Montgomery County Public Schools Board of Education meets virtually at 10 a.m. The school board will be presented with three academic calendar scenarios for the 2021-2022 schoolyear.
