New Zealand s housing crisis continues to stagnate efforts to slash child poverty, the latest data shows.
The Government today released two child wellbeing reports, holding it to account on measures introduced in 2018 to reduce child poverty.
Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern, who is Minister for Child Poverty Reduction, said the reports highlighted most children and young people in New Zealand were doing well, with many improvements in key measures. ....

Federal officials said Monday they are pursuing civil penalties against two more passengers for interfering with airline crews, the latest in a surge of such cases in recent months.
The Federal Aviation Administration said it is continuing to take a zero-tolerance stance against unruly passengers.
The most recent cases involve a passenger who refused to wear a face mask, which is required by federal regulation, and another who cursed flight attendants and the captain after boarding a plane. ....

Interpol, NZ police still searching for Kiwi fraudster Paul Mora

The mystery of where a Kiwi fraudster wanted by German authorities is hiding continues.
Interpol, based in Lyon, France, posted a red notice on its website seeking information on the whereabouts of Paul Robert Mora in February.
He is suspected of facilitating and concealing fraudulent transactions worth more than €113 million ($190 million).
The 53-year-old is understood to be in New Zealand, where he has property in Christchurch.
