산업통상자원부는 1일 올 1~6월 수출이 전년 동기 대비 26.1% 늘어난 3032억4000만 달러(약 343조원)를 기록했다고 발표했다. 하루 평균 수출액도 22억5000만 달러로 26.1% 증가했다. 같은 기간 수입액은 24.0% 증가한 2851억1000만 달러였다.
이전까지 상반기 기준 최고 수출 기록은 2018년 2967억 달러였다. 그해 연간 수출액은 역대 유일하게 6000억 달러를 넘었다. 문동민 산업부 무역투자실장은 “여러 기관이 올해 한국 수출 전망을 2018년 수준 안팎으로 발표하고 있다”며 “지금 상황에서 계속 좋은 흐름을 이어나간다면 (올해) 사상 최고의 수출 실적을 달성할 수 있지 않을까 기대한다”고 말했다. 올 상반기 수출 증가율(26.1%)이 지난 2010년 상반기(34.3%) 이후 가장 높다는 점도 긍정적 신호다.
