Now, I recognize that as someone who has been critical of Titans, that might sound like tepid praise, but the biggest problem this DC series has always had was focusing on a story. With such a large cast, many of them big names in the DC universe, it makes sense that the series would want to use as many of them is possible. But when you only have 10-12 episodes in a season, that tends to just bloat the story. Again in the comics, the Red Hood is the mantle that Jason takes on after coming back from the dead and seems to have been already confirmed that it s him hiding behind the mask. While we don t actually see the Joker in this trailer and no actor was named to be playing the role, we do get a look at some new faces. Savannah Welch plays Barbara Gordon, or Commissioner Gordon like she is addressed in the trailer, taking over from her dad as the head of the Gotham City Police Department.
