Houston CVS Pharmacy fills woman's prescription with wrong dosage, suit claims

HOUSTON A woman alleges a CVS Pharmacy in Houston filled her prescription with the wrong dosage which caused her to ingest double the amount of medication she was prescribed.
Edith Johnson filed a complaint May 11 in Harris County District Court against CVS Pharmacy Inc., CVS Pharmacy Inc., doing business as CVS Pharmacy Store #6238 and others alleging negligence.
Johnson alleges in her complaint that she was given a prescription from her doctor for 500 milligrams of Metformin HCL which was sent to the CVS Pharmacy on West Fuqua Street in Houston on May 14, 2019. She claims her prescription was mistakenly filled for 1000 milligrams of Metformin HCL which is twice the dosage her physician prescribed. ....

HOUSTON A man is seeking $1 million in damages after allegedly slipping and falling on a slippery floor at a Houston Kroger.
Gary Ferguson filed a complaint May 3 in Harris County District Court against Kroger Texas LP doing business as Kroger Houston 392, The Kroger Co doing buisness as Kroger Houston 392, Kroger Houston 392 and Philip Ingram alleging premises liability and negligence.
Ferguson alleges that he was at a Houston Kroger on Oct. 15, 2019, when he slipped and fell on a slippery substance on the floor and suffered injuries. He claims he has suffered physical impairment, disability, lost earnings as well as incurred medical care expenses. ....

Man hits Kohl's with slip and fall lawsuit

HOUSTON A man claims he slipped and fell at a Houston Kohl s store and suffered serious injuries.
Celida Rodriguez filed a complaint May 3 in Harris County District Court against Kohl s Department Stores Inc., doing business as Kohl s Store #544 alleging negligence.
Rodriguez claims in his suit that he was at the Kohl s on Barker Cypress Road in Houston on July 13, 2019. He alleges that as he was walking on the premises, he slipped and fell due to a slippery substance on the floor and suffered serious injuries.
Rodriguez further alleges that he also lost wages and incurred medical expenses as a result of his slip and fall. He claims that at least one of Kohl s employees was aware of the dangerous condition on the floor and failed to warn of the hazard. Rodriguez also claims Kohl s failed to maintain its store in a safe manner. ....

HOUSTON A Houston restaurant is facing a suit from a customer alleging she was assaulted by one of their employees.
Star Deshi Brown filed a complaint March 15 in Harris County District Court against Chacho s 6006 Westheimer LTD alleging negligence.
Brown alleges that while at Chacho s located on Westheimer Road in Houston on March 24, 2019, she was assaulted by one of Chacho s employees and suffered serious injuries.
