In response to Big Tech s continued onslaught of censorship against conservatives, the Media Research Center has decided that we ve had enough and so we ve created a channel on Rumble to promote the use of free-speech-oriented platforms.
Rumble, an established video platform as a free-speech-oriented alternative to YouTube, will be yet another avenue for conservatives to see the work of the MRC.

The Online Content Policy Modernization Act Is an Unconstitutional Mess

EFF is standing with a huge coalition of organizations to urge Congress to oppose the Online Content Policy Modernization Act (OCPMA, S. 4632). Introduced by Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC), the OCPMA is yet another of this year’s flood of misguided attacks on Internet speech (read bill [pdf]). The bill would make it harder for online platforms to take common-sense moderation measures like removing spam or correcting disinformation, including disinformation about the upcoming election. But it doesn’t stop there: the bill would also upend longstanding balances in copyright law, subjecting ordinary Internet users to up to $30,000 in fines for everyday activities like sharing photos and writing online, without even the benefit of a judge and jury. ....

LOS ANGELES New legislation from three Senate Democrats would create the broadest exceptions to online speech protections yet proposed.
After more than a year of threats to Section 230, the “First Amendment of the Internet,” under the Donald Trump administration, Democrats in the United States Senate have introduced a new bill to “reform” the 25-year-old law in ways that, according to one top free speech lawyer, appears to be “a new idea to destroy Section 230.”
Speaking February 11 at the #interNEXT2021 conference, attorney Corey Siverstein said that the proposed law would “rewrite all of Section 230, and if you are in any way making money in relation to something being posted, you would have no ability to assert Section 230.” ....
