Highland County commissioners Jeff Duncan, Terry Britton and David Daniels met with Teresa Lewis, regional director of Congressman Brad Wenstrup’s Peebles office Wednesday, May 5, where they discussed the county’s rejected $843,498 Department of Justice grant and concerns regarding the COVID-19 pandemic and related programs.
As previously reported, the awarding of an $843,498 U.S. Department of Justice grant for the Rocky Fork Lake region was announced Oct. 5, 2016. Wenstrup was among the public officials making the initial announcement in the commissioners’ office. ....
