Hypnotherapist opens practice in hometown

A CLINICAL hypnotherapist has launched a new hypnotherapy service on Newton High Street to help people overcome stress and post-lockdown anxiety.
Chris Skoyles, who runs CJS Therapy in Liverpool, has opened up a second practice in his hometown of Newton-le-Willows to offer mental health and well-being support to his community.
The launch of the new practice comes at the start of Mental Health Awareness Week 2021 (May 10-16)
The campaign, managed by the Mental Health Foundation, is an annual event and this year’s theme is Connecting With nature, with organisers promoting the benefits of spending time in The Great Outdoors. ....

Traffic at Winwick is at 'breaking point' Parkside inquiry is told


Parkside has been a potential development since the colliery shut and the famous towers were demolished
TRAFFIC in Winwick is already at breaking point and redevelopment of Parkside should only begin at the same time as a new link road.
These concerns were shared by Labour councillor Cathy Mitchell during the public inquiry into plans to regenerate the former colliery in Newton-le-Willows.
Proposals to redevelop former colliery, which was shut in 1993, were originally submitted in January 2018 by Parkside Regeneration LLP, a joint venture between developer Langtree and St Helens Borough Council.
St Helens Borough Council granted outline planning permission in December 2019, while also giving the green light for the Parkside Link Road project, which is seen as a key element to unlocking the potential of the site. ....

Rumours had swirled of people catching coronavirus prior to that of course, but March 13 was the day for the record books.
