New laboratory for spectral analysis of soils and plants in Côte d Ivoire

    The Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Integration and Diaspora, Kandia Camara, representing the Prime Minister of the Republic of Côte d Ivoire, Achi Patrick, officiated at the opening of a new laboratory of spectral analysis of soil and plants that was provided by the Cotton and Cashew Board, Thursday, 20 May 2021, in Sinématiali. Accompanied by several members of the Government, the Minister stated that the laboratory was ‘an act of great significance, which is of paramount importance for the populations of the Poro Region whose income is most linked to the work of the land’. Cotton and Cashew Board director-general, Adama Coulibaly, added that, ‘This laboratory is a tool that the Cotton and Cashew Board is making available to producers of all crops in order to proactively improve soil health to optimize agricultural production’.
