Long An to build $59 million IP in Duc Hoa district 10:47 | 15/04/2021 In light of Decision No.548/QD-TTg of the prime minister granting in-principle approval for the project to build Century Industrial Park (IP), the IP will be positioned in Huu Thanh commune in the southern province of  Long An, with Hai Son Co., Ltd. acting as the developer. The strong presence of IPs drive the province s socioeconomic development Covering over 119 hectares, the project will be built at a cost of VND1.355 trillion ($58.9 million), VND400 billion ($17.4 million) of which is investorâs equity. Construction time must not exceed 36 months from the date of land allocation, and the projectâs operation duration will be 50 years from getting the approved investment proposal. ....

The agricultural sector has determined to improve quality to meet import market standards and achieve the export target of US$10 billion by 2030. Dang Phuc Nguyen, general secretary of the Viet Nam Vegetables Association, said that new-generation free trade agreements (FTAs) such as the EU-Viet Nam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA); the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP); or Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) were helping pave the way for Vietnamese businesses to increase fruit and vegetable export turnover this year. ....

In December 2019, Haiphong provided in-principle approval for Vinhomes to study the development of the infrastructure component of the new urban project in Thuy Nguyen district. The prime minister approved the investment planning of the technical infrastructure project of the urban area in June 2016. The project would be complemented by Hoang Van Thu Bridge and the transport and technical infrastructure system covering numerous communes in Thuy Nguyen, Hong Bang, and Ngo Quyen districts. ....
