How a North Korean ship changed hands multiple times in just over a decade

North Korean ships are now well-known for hiding their activities behind false companies to navigate around international sanctions. Even when “owned” by non-North Koreans, these ships can remain under state control for decades. Former mayor Roger Fern remembered by family and Ipswich | East Anglian Daily Times

Former Northgate High School headteacher Neil Watts said: "I knew Roger for several years. As a headteacher he was always very keen to ensure that schools should work together and co-operate. That was why he ended up as an advisor to the LEA.
"For a year he ended up working with me at Northgate. We got some extra funding and were working with the LEA in co-operation with other schools - but it was taking some of my staff away from teaching so I just brought Roger in to get on and run the programme with the other schools and he was brilliant at that."

As the Lucindale fire in South Australia's south-east took hold yesterday, Neil and Chris Watts raced home to find "flames everywhere".
Today they were left to scour through the burnt remains of their home of more than 40 years.
"Came straight here and that's when we found the place on fire, just about flames everywhere, couldn't do much about it," Mr Watts said.

To The Moon Sequel, Finding Paradise, Makes Its Way To Switch Next Summer

To The Moon Sequel, Finding Paradise, Makes Its Way To Switch Next Summer
If you haven't already played
To The Moon, what are you doing?! Go and play it right now, and come back. We'll wait.
...Ok, now we're all caught up, wipe away those tears and get ready to start weeping all over again as
Finding Paradise is a gentle, story-led RPG that looks like an old, 16-bit
Final Fantasy game, but takes its narrative cues from movies such as
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and
Memento (only way,
way less traumatising).
You'll play as Dr Eva Rosalene and Dr Neil Watts, working for a memory-altering company, Sigmund Corp., as they explore the memories of a dying man in order to fulfil his final wishes. Along the way, you'll discover heartbreak, fear, betrayal, and all sorts of things that you'll probably need to talk to your therapist about afterwards.

Marlborough beach patrols boosted as holiday influx expected this summer

The club, which patrols White Bay, has a new side-by-side vehicle replacing a “big yellow tractor" that “sometimes worked and sometimes didn't”. A new AED defibrillator was also due to be installed at the club and would be accessible to the public when there was no one on patrol.
“That’s probably taken that next step into the future and future proofing ourselves for a little bit longer, having a reliable vehicle," Ferguson said.

Marlborough’s lifeguards have already carried out two rescues this summer, both involving kayakers.
.
It matched the total number of rescues for all of last season, although lifeguards also dealt with a major first aid event and 11 minor first aid events then.
