Ms. Donna Wells, 82 of New Concord
Donna Mae Wells, 82, of New Concord, died Thursday, May 27, 2021, at CHC at Beckett House of New Concord.
She was born October 29, 1938 in Detroit, MI, daughter of the late Peter Hafner and Margaret (Gerrity) Hafner.
Ms. Wells and her husband owned Lyle’s Marina in Pearl Beach, MI. She then went on to become a realtor. She moved to Cambridge, OH in 2007 to be nearer to her grandchildren, who called her “Gammy”. During her short time in Ohio, she kept busy. She volunteered as a Dicken’s Ambassador for the Dicken’s Victorian Village, and she was a model for a life-like mannequin in their displays. She published a short story in “The Wills Creek Chronicles” with The Cambridge Writers Workshop. Donna was a member of St. Benedict’s Church and involved with their RCIA program. Donna was a lifelong football fan cheering on her favorite teams, the Detroit Lions, and the Michigan Wolverines. Otherwise, she enjoyed readin ....

June “Genevieve” (Mckahan) Ratliff, 95, formerly of Brighton Twp., passed away on April 22, 2021. She was born in Claysville, PA on June 1, 1925, a daughter of the late John and Emma (Kimmey) McKahan.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Forest C. Ratliff (1996); her sons, Coleman Ratliff, John Ratliff and three grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Emma Gentry, Shirley Simmons, and Marsha (Stanley) Taormina; 16 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her daughters-in-law, Loretta Ratliff and Viola Ratliff.
Family and friends will be received on Monday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM, in the Huntsman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Inc. of Rochester (502 Adams St.) where a funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 11 am., with Rev. EAST LIVERPOOL Monday afternoon, April 19, 2021, Rosemarie Ensinger went home to be with her Lord Jesus. Born April 1, 1930, Rosemarie was the seventh child of Emmett and Bertha Campbell Green. She graduated from East Liverpool High School in 1948, and married Kenneth Ensinger in 1951. Rosemarie and Kenneth spent fifty years together until Kenneth’s passing in 2001. Their two children are Stephen and Lisa Ensinger, both of East Liverpool.
Rosemarie worked for Ohio Bell for more than thirty years in East Liverpool and Steubenville. She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene, a board member, choir member, Sunday School teacher, and she was a representative of the Nazarene Women’s Missionary Society. She currently attended Northside Community Church. She was a Telephone Pioneer member and served in several capacities for the East Liverpool school system, as a reading volunteer at LaCroft Elementary, a member of the PTA, and of the Kiwanis Scholar ....

AUSTINTOWN Esther M. Kleiner passed into the hands of the Lord on Saturday, Feb. 13, 2021.
Esther was born in 1931 in Niles, a daughter of Russell and Anna Nigra Daley and was a lifelong resident of Liberty Township.
After graduating from Liberty High School in 1949, Esther worked in the main offices of the A&P Tea Company in Youngstown and in the offices of Commercial Shearing on Andrews Avenue.
Esther was a very active member of New Life Lutheran Church in Youngstown, where she volunteered on many of the committees for worship, education, parish life and the prayer chain.
She was blessed with a remarkable singing voice and was a member of the church choir for over 50 years. Esther was also very active within the Liberty school system, volunteering her time at the W.S. Guy School library, the high school band and wrestling boosters. She also enjoyed gardening, flowers and bird watching. ....

HUBBARD Mary F. Brashen, 91, passed away peacefully on to her eternal home after an illness of several months, Thursday, Dec. 24, 2020, at Hospice House in Poland.
Mary was born Sept. 15, 1929, in Sharpsville, Pa., a daughter of Michael and Anna Kuzmik Faber.
She was a 1947 graduate of Brookfield High School. After graduation, she went to work at Westinghouse, where she met the love of her life, John Brashen.
After raising her children, she continued her education and became a licensed practical nurse. She was devoted to the patients that she served at Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren, retiring after 20 years. She also was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Hubbard. ....
