There’s nothing unusual about a rising artist putting their own spin on the most popular song in the world, but it was the sound and style of jxdn’s rendition that made it feel like a watershed moment: As a social media star who could be mistaken for your local fratboy, Hossler bears little resemblance to a young Patrick Stump.
