Dr. Julian Josey, who was instrumental in providing care for cancer patients in the Upstate, was remembered by his colleagues this week as someone with passion and dedication for those he served.
Josey died Monday after a long-term fight against cancer. He was 83.
Josey was first diagnosed in May 2012 with myeloma – a form of blood cancer. Family and friends say the diagnosis didn t slow him down as he remained active with Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System and played an active role in helping with fundraising. ....
