There are four locations to choose from, and the operations will differ slightly at each of the locations. The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program will operate sites at the GVR East Center, St. Francis-In-The-Valley Episcopal church and the Sahuarita Food Bank. AARP Tax-Aide will operate a tax site starting in February. Volunteers at the East Center and St. Francis Church had previously worked in the AARP program, but moved to the VITA program when AARP decided not to reopen any of their Southern Arizona Tax-Aide sites for the remainder of the 2019 tax season.

I think the biggest issue facing Ramona right now is fear. 2020 left us severely rattled on all levels from the global to the deeply personal and everything in between. We now fear the very breaths entering our bodies. So many of our issues stem from this. People are so afraid of loss right now personal, professional, financial, political and independence. These kinds of fear cause people to dig in their heels, scapegoat, shut down communication, gossip and rumormonger, hoard resources and succumb to an us-versus-them mentality.
