Currently, 43 beggars hailing from different states including Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, and Odisha who were living in Jaipur, have been provided a shelter where Yoga, sports, and computer classes are being imparted to them.
Talking about the campaignRajasthan Skill and Livelihoods Development Corporation Chairman Niraj Kumar Pawan told ANI, The Chief Minister of Rajasthan wanted to make the state beggar-free and rehabilitate the beggars. The RLSDC with the joint efforts of the Rajasthan Police conducted a survey on beggars in Jaipur. Then we opened Kaushal Vardhan Kendra where beggars in the batches of 20 are being skill-trained. Following this, they shall be provided with jobs. Once it succeeds in Jaipur, it will be further taken to other districts of the state. The Society for the Protection of the Rights of the Child (SPARC) on Thursday organised a comprehensive training session for the probation and parole staff and other relevant government officials for providing support to young people in prisons and under probation in Sindh.
Speaking to the participants, Dr Muhammad Usman Chachar, the Sindh home department additional chief secretary, said the provincial government had been taking proactive steps to improve the criminal justice system and implement the laws.
âIt is highly appreciable that the need is being realised for capacity building of probation staff and other linked departments to improve support for youth in conflict with law,â he said. Abdul Kabir Kazi, the Sindh Education Foundation (SEF) managing director, said the provincial government was committed to uplifting and empowering the youth. ....

Doha: Qatar Rehabilitation Institute (QRI) has recently opened its first wellness clinic for the elderly in Qatar. The new clinic is a preventive medicine clinic aimed at providing integrated medical, rehabilitation and psychological care for the elderly within the framework of the healthy aging priority under the National Health Strategy 2018-2022.
The Elderly Wellness Clinic includes a consultant in the specialty of Community Medicine and Preventive Medicine, a consultant of Internal Medicine for the elderly, a physiotherapist and a Dietician, in addition to a nursing team specialized in the field of elderly health. The clinic receives patients referred thereto from the age of sixty and over; males and females on Mondays every week, the days per week shall increase upon expansion of the clinic in the future. ....
