KEVIN RAUCH For The Express The Chapman Township Volunteer Fire Company will be holding a fundraiser to raise money for the station. The fundraiser will also benefit local businesses. RENOVO The Chapman Township Volunteer Fire Company has started their first of what they plan on becoming a semi-annual fundraiser which they hope will not only benefit them but will surely help local businesses. The “Businesses Fund Drive” is a raffle in which the fire company purchased 30 $25 gift certificates from the Renovo area surrounding businesses. One winner will receive all 30 certificates. The fundraising committee has decided instead of purchasing prizes from large retail stores they would try to help local businesses. The area businesses have been suffering through the COVID-19 pandemic so why not help them out and the fire company at the same time. ....

Bucktail Medical Center Bucktail Medical Center is a 43-bed Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), 16-bed Critical Access Hospital (CAH) community Rural Health Clinic (RHC), and Basic Life Support (BLS) ambulance service. Located in the middle of Pennsylvania’s northern tier and within the Pennsylvania Wilds; BMC is likely the most remote health care facility in the state. The hospital dates back to 1909 as Renovo Hospital. In 1979 the facility was moved across the West Branch ....

RENOVO A public plea by the Renovo Council of Churches saw area parishioners not only meet the request but come through three-fold as again the Bucktail Medical Center is able to see through fundraising just what the hospital means to the community. The council asked area churches to help and try to raise $2,500 and they would match the donation, getting a $5,000 check to the BMC as the small rural center has faced even more uncertain times over the past year. ....
