Islamabad June 2, 2021 Islamabad: Director General Anti-Narcotics Control (ANF) Major General Muhammad Arif Malik on Tuesday directed to accelerate the ongoing nationwide drive for apprehension of elements involved in sale of drug in educational institutions. Addressing the Force Commanders Conference of Anti-Narcotics Force at Headquarters ANF Rawalpindi, he directed the force to deal with the smugglers of narcotics with iron hands. He also directed to come hard on absconders and proclaimed offenders in drug offences, and emphasized upon taking proactive and innovative steps to curb the drug trafficking and disruption of drug supply. Force Commanders of all ANF Regional Directorate and Senior Staff Officers attended the conference.

Punjab: 2 drug peddlers held, 505 gms heroin seized Shahkot, May 17 (UNI) The Shahkot police have arrested two drug peddlers, including a foreign woman, on the charges of selling heroin. Station House Officer (SHO) Surinder Kumar Kamboj said that the accused have been identified as Elizabeth alias Liz, a citizen of Kenya and presently living in New Delhi and Sammi Kapur, a resident of Najafgarh, South Delhi. The SHO said that 505 grams heroin was recovered from their possession, adding that the accused were travelling in a car. He said a case under sections 21(C) /61/85 of the NDPS Act has been registered against the accused and their car has been impounded.

NCB Nabs Ganja Peddlers Near Pedda Amberpet Toll Plaza Mar 03, 2021, 10:41 IST Hyderabad: The Narcotics Control Bureau on Monday, March 1, said it busted a cannabis trafficking network by arresting eight people and seizing 681.8 kg of contraband. According to the NCB, acting on specific intelligence inputs by NCB Bengaluru, the Hyderabad sub-zonal unit intercepted three cars near Pedda Amberpet Toll Plaza, Rangareddy District in Telangana, and seized the contraband. The seized ganja in 335 packets was meant to be sold in various parts of the Pune and Osmanabad districts in Maharashtra. A syndicate of eight people used to source cannabis in huge quantities from Visakhapatnam and distribute it in various parts of Pune and Osmanabad in Maharashtra.
