Parents Organize to Push Back Against Critical Race Theory

Parents Organize to Push Back Against Critical Race Theory
A growing number of American parents are getting together to find ways to block the spread of the quasi-Marxist critical race theory (CRT) in schools where they send their children.
They see the doctrine as a culprit in creating a toxic environment and exacerbating problems it claims to ameliorate. School officials have been responding with denials or silence.
CRT has been spreading throughout academia, entertainment, government, schools, and corporations. It redefines America’s history as a struggle between “oppressors” (white people) and the “oppressed” (everybody else), similarly to Marxism’s reduction of human history to a struggle between the “bourgeoisie” and the “proletariat.” It labels institutions that emerged in majority-white societies as “systemically” or “structurally” racist. ....

In 2000, when George W. Bush spoke to the NAACP about “the soft bigotry of low expectations,” he wasn’t talking about Democrat Representative Maxine Waters. But he might just as well have. For years now, Waters has gotten a pass on her hate-filled and inciteful rhetoric — rhetoric that, had it been uttered by, say, a white president, would’ve been grounds for impeachment.
And yet there was Waters on Saturday night, pouring gasoline on yet another fire. As the New York Post reports, “Waters joined hundreds of angry protesters who thronged Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, early Sunday, all breaking the 11 p.m. curfew together during the seventh night of protests against the police killing of Daunte Wright. ‘We’ve got to stay in the streets, and we’ve got to demand justice,’ she urged the crowd, according to one tweeted clip. ‘We’re looking for a guilty verdict’ in Derek Chauvin’s trial for the p ....

Print this article
A Virginia parents group formed a political action committee with the intent of unseating multiple school board members in Virginia s Loudoun County due to a feud over critical race theory.
The Fight for Schools PAC said Loudoun County school board members showed a misunderstanding of their duties and responsibility as elected officials, according to a readout obtained by the
Washington Examiner.
For the sake of our children, Loudoun County parents cannot wait until 2023 to elect new leaders, Ian Prior, leader of the PAC and a Loudoun County parent, said. Prior also previously worked for the National Republican Congressional Committee and former President Donald Trump s Department of Justice. ....
