Nonprofits organize holiday outreach for Coastside farmworker, essential worker families

Bay Area Border Relief volunteers announced a food and basic supplies drive, Coastside Christmas, to support 250 farmworker and essential worker families from the coastal communities of San Mateo County, including residents of Half Moon Bay, El Granada, Montara and Pescadero. All collections will be distributed on Saturday, Dec. 19 at the Half Moon Bay Library, 620 Correas St.
Belinda Hernandez-Arriaga, ALAS (Ayudando Latinos a Soñar) founder and BABR co-founder, will welcome everyone, with brief remarks by Half Moon Bay city representatives, Rep. Jackie Speier, state Sen.
