A 32-year-old man is accused of threatening several Portland Parks & Recreation rangers with an ax and hitting another member of the community with a paintball in downtown Portland
Randy Graves was booked into the Multnomah County jail and faces multiple charges including menacing, unlawful use of a weapon, fourth-degree assault, disorderly conduct, reckless endangering and possession of a weapon in a park.
According to police, around 10 a.m. Saturday, April 3, a man walked into the Portland Police Bureau Central Precinct to report that he had been shot by a suspect with a paintball gun. The man told officers he was riding his bicycle in Chapman Square Park, near the intersection of Southwest Third Avenue and Main Street, when the suspect fired a paintball at him, hitting him once. ....

A rally of anti-fascists in snowy downtown Portland Friday evening ended with a few broken windows, police say.
The ground was white with snow, but local anti-fascists still dressed all in black for another protest in downtown Portland on Friday evening, Feb. 12.
A group of perhaps 70 people gathered at Director Park, 815 S.W. Park Ave., around 8 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 12, for what was advertised as an antifa snowball fight on social media. A few snowballs were thrown at passing police cruisers.
