Aminadab Gaxiola Gonzalez, 44, was shot by police March 31 following a mass shooting in Orange that left four people including a nine-year-old boy dead. He was initially to be arraigned April 2, but his inability to communicate prompted a continued delay of criminal proceedings. Prosecutors said April 9 that despite still being incapacitated, Gonzalez has shown signs of improvement. On March 31 around 5:30 p.m., a man used bicycle-type locks to secure iron gates leading to an office building at 202 W. Lincoln Avenue in Orange.
