Man charged with shoving disabled person Scott Cousins, scousins@thetelegraph.com FacebookTwitterEmail EDWARDSVILLE An East Alton man has been charged with battering a disabled person at the Olin Building Apartments. David J. Jackson, 45, of East Alton, was charged April 6 with aggravated battery, a Class 3 felony, and criminal damage to government supported property, a Class 4 felony. The case was presented by the East Alton Police Department. According to court documents, on April 1, Jackson a resident of the Olin Building Apartments allegedly pushed another man who was physically disabled. Jackson also damaged the drywall inside the lobby area of the building, which is operated by the Madison County Housing Authority. Bail was set at $30,000. ....
