Arnold, Calise top St. Ray’s Class of 2021
Cooper Arnold, left, was named 2021 St. Raphael Academy valedictorian and Isabella Calise was named salutatorian.
PAWTUCKET – Cooper Arnold and Isabella Calise both knew they would be in the top two spots in the Class of 2021 at St. Raphael Academy in Pawtucket but they said they didn’t know until the announcement last week what the order would be.
Arnold, with a GPA of 116.16, has been named valedictorian, while Calise, whose GPA is 115.89, is salutatorian.
“We’re very proud of them,” said Judy Baxter, vice principal of academics at the school, adding that Arnold and Calise are both engaging and personable students who embrace the mission of the school. “We’re very proud of them,” she said. ....
