The Miami Trace Local School District held its second-annual State of the District address online recently, during which district administration discussed special education, finance and business within the schools.
The first of these presenters were Directors of Special Education Casey Enochs and Jackie Morris. Enochs who serves as the elementary special education director thanked the Miami Trace community for the opportunity to provide special education services to the children who need them. ....

Miami Trace Local Schools held its second-annual “State of the District” address on Monday when curriculum and technology leaders spoke about the last year and what is coming in the future.

Miami Trace Local School District (MTLSD) sported plenty of orange attire, the color of ribbon signifying leukemia awareness, as a show of unity and support for their fellow Panther.

Not only did MTLSD students and staff show support for Gary in-person, but that support extended into numerous homes and families. Remote learners joined in on sporting their orange attire.

Washington Court House City Schools (WCHCS) staff and students dressed in red attire to show support for Miami Trace Elementary student Gary Lewis as he loves the Cincinnati Reds. A post on the WCHCS social media page explained, “we wanted to help him channel the strength of the Redlegs rotation as he works to strike out Leukemia. Life may be throwing some curveballs at Gary and his family right now, but the Blue Lion Family is root, root, rooting for you!” ....

On April 1, two men who reportedly trespassed at a Lewis Road barn in northeast Fayette County in the early morning hours were allegedly shot by the property owner.
