The Duhallow Choral Society was founded 25 years ago on March 6, 1996. A conservation plan is to be developed for the Old Kilbride Graveyard, whose ownership has been transferred to Wicklow County Council. Claire Lawless, district administrator, confirmed to elected members that the ownership of the Kilbride Graveyard site had been transferred to the local authority. €20,000 had been set aside in this year s budget to develop a conservation plan for the graveyard, which would then be used as the basis going forward to apply for heritage funding or grants. Councillor Sylvester Bourke (FG) said he sits on the Tus project committee and understood it would remain in place until further arrangements were made. He also asked the district to look into the extension of the local authority s insurance to cover the graveyard. ....
