Wednesday May 5th, 2021 3:15pm The Tewaaraton Lacrosse League has announced that it plans to begin play with an eight-day tournament this August. The TLL, which has said it will be a junior league but which will allow 22-year-old players rather than the usual 17-21 age range, has announced four teams. They plan to play a round robin tournament culminating in its first championship. The TLL also announced its executive, which will be headed by veteran lacrosse leader Lewis Staats as president and which includes vice presidents Vince Hunt and Jeff Snyder. Sunday March 7th, 2021 3:15pm The Tewaaraton Lacrosse League (TLL) has announced its third founding member to its Major Junior lacrosse league, the Tri City Havoc Lacrosse Club. The Tri City Havoc, is owned by Jeff Snyder, and will represent the lacrosse-rich area of Cambridge, Kitchener, Waterloo, Guelph, and surrounding areas. “We are definitely excited about the new league and the chance to be part of what we are sure will be a great thing for the Ontario lacrosse market right from the first game,” Snyder said. “The Tewaaraton Lacrosse League (TLL) is a great chance for us to showcase the strongest lacrosse talent from across the province, while honouring the history and many traditions of the great game of lacrosse. Every once in a while, each sport needs a little shot in the arm to reinvent parts of itself to continue being the best version of themself. The TLL is exactly that.” ....
