Dixon Technologies on Thursday reported a 60.48 per cent increase in consolidated net profit at Rs 44.26 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 2021, helped by increase in revenue.
The leading electronic manufacturing services (EMS) company had posted a net profit of Rs 27.58 crore in the January-March period a year ago, it said in a BSE filing.
Revenue from operations jumped over two-fold to Rs 2,109.71 crore as against Rs 857.41 crore in the corresponding quarter last fiscal. ....

Apparel manufacturer Page Industries Ltd (PIL) on Thursday reported nearly four-fold jump in its net profit at Rs 115.56 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 2021.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 31.02 crore during the January-March period a year ago, PIL said in a BSE filing.
Revenue from operations rose 62.72 per cent to Rs 880.76 crore during the quarter under review as against Rs 541.28 crore in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal.
Commenting on the results, PIL Managing Director Sunder Genomal said the company has witnessed a strong demand pick-up across all its product categories. ....

Royal Bank of Canada beats second-quarter profit expectations

May 27 (Reuters) - Royal Bank of Canada beat analysts’ estimates for quarterly profit on Thursday, driven by strength in its capital markets and wealth management units, and as it released some reserves set aside to cover loan losses.
Canada’s largest lender posted net income of C$4 billion ($3.30 billion), or C$2.76 a share, up from C$1.48 billion, or C$1 per share, a year ago. Analysts had expected C$2.48 a share, according to IBES data from Refinitiv.

Mahanagar GasL’s Q4-FY21 results were broadly in line with our estimates underpinned by sustained recovery in volumes and elevated margins.
We cut our FY-22 EPS to factor in lower near-term volumes, while retaining FY-23 estimates and Fair Value at ₹1,350. We reiterate Buy given: inexpensive valuations at nearly 11X FY2023 EPS; high FCF yield of 8 per cent; and limited concerns on margins amid a favorable pricing environment and lack of regulations.
MGL’s EBITDA was 3 per cent above estimate at ₹316 crore in Q4-FY21, driven by sustained recovery in volumes and elevated unit margins. Overall volumes increased 4 per cent q-o-q to 2.89 mcm/d. ....
