Match & Wood appoints first national strategy director from Initiative July 21, 2021 9:36 Sam Enshaw Prior to his role at Initiative, Enshaw spent time in Singapore at IPG Mediabrands APAC as regional implementation director. In Singapore, he worked with brands including Johnson & Johnson, Netflix, and Spotify. Enshaw has also worked at Carat, McCann, and UM. ADVERTISEMENT At Match & Wood, Enshaw will be responsible for for leading the agency’s strategy offering. Independent media agency Match & Wood has appointed former Initiative strategy director Sam Enshaw as its first national strategy director working across its Melbourne and Perth offices. Enshaw joins from Initiative Melbourne where he won multiple Festival of Media Asia and Festival of Media Global awards for Swinburne University’s ‘Swintopia’ campaign. Prior to Initiative, he was regional implementation director at IPG Mediabrands in Singapore, assisting clients including Johnson & Johnson, Netflix and Spotify. He has also worked at Carat, McCann and UM. Based at Match & Wood in Melbourne, Enshaw will lead the strategy offering across both its offices, working with key clients in the education, energy, health insurance, finance and technology sectors. ....

The final round of the competition, aimed at inspiring Australian marketers and creative agencies to come up with new creative executions, sees major brands Arnott’s, Isuzu, Officeworks, Rebel, Sportsbet, Stan and Warner Bros. entering for the chance to win the biggest prize in Australian advertising. In total, 16 brands entered the competition, which was created by Nine’s marketing solutions division Powered and announced at last year’s Upfronts, with more than $1 million in advertising inventory up for grabs across Nine’s leading television, radio, digital and print assets. ....
