MUSKEGON COUNTY, MI – Amy Lee Black, one of Michigan’s 10 female “juvenile lifers,” has asked a judge to reduce her life sentence in what has been called a despicable, horrific killing.
Black, 46, and her boyfriend, Jeffery Abrahamson, 50, were convicted of first-degree murder in the Dec. 7, 1990, killing of Dave VanBogelen, 34.
His body was left on a two-track road after he was bludgeoned and repeatedly stabbed. ....
