Mr. Jules Eugene Canel, 76 of Quaker City
Jules Eugene Canel, 76, of Quaker City, died Thursday (May 6, 2021) at Southeastern Med, Cambridge.
He was born October 15, 1944, son of the late Jules Canel and Mary Edith (Oakley) Canel.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Margaret Ann Long; and a brother-in-law, Frank Clifford Alwine.
Eugene was a 1962 graduate of Quaker City High School, enlisted in the Navy in 1965, and then graduated from the Great Lakes Naval Training Center in 1966.
He worked as a data systems technician, repairing computers for the banking industry, all along the east coast. ....

The Canadian Mining Hall of Fame is now accepting nominations for individuals who have demonstrated leadership and outstanding achievement in the mining industry.

The Canadian Mining Hall of Fame is now accepting nominations for individuals who have demonstrated leadership and outstanding achievement in the mining industry.

The original cast will be joined by Hugh Dancy, Laura Haddock, Nathalie Baye, and Dominic West in the upcoming sequel Downton Abbey 2.
Focus Features has officially announced
Downton Abbey 2 with the entire original cast returning. The studio has set production on the upcoming sequel with Gareth Neame s Carnival Films, and shooting on the project began last week. On the fast track to be released this Christmas, the sequel has also been given an official premiere date set for Dec. 22, 2021.

Downton Abbey movie followed a Royal Visit to the Crawley family and Downton staff from the King and Queen of England and ended with a ball fitting for the Royal Family. Yuletide: Jos residents decry high price of local rice

Some residents of Jos have decried the recent hike in price of local rice in the area, describing the development as worrisome, especially with the Christmas and New Year festivities fast approaching.
One of them, Mrs Mary Edith, a trader, told News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) that in 2019 she bought a 50kg bag of stone-free local rice for N13,000, but that the same brand was now selling for N28,000.
“You will agree with me that this increase is outrageous and unfair for an average Nigerian whose salary is about N30,000. ....
